A few things that save you a second trip
- Label everything. Shoes, bags, water bottles — with your dancer's name. Studio floors eat unlabeled shoes.
- Transitional tights are the ones with the opening in the bottom, so she can go barefoot for acro without changing.
- Buy shoes to fit now, not to grow into. A loose ballet shoe is a trip hazard and a fast way to a bad first season.
- Tap shoes stiffen with wear. If they are snug on day one, that is correct.
